    An enthusiastic crowd turned out for this celebration of Women's History Month in Victoria, and the launch of 100 More Canadian Heroines. Guests included MLA Ida Chong and David Clarke, family historian for The Butchart Gardens. Jennie Butchart is featured in the new book, and David Clarke spoke about the family. Door prizes were provided by the author and The Butchart Gardens. Merna is a member of the Victoria Genealogical Society, and arranged for Melanie Arscott and Sarah Hamster to set up a display and answer questions about family history research.
