This Month in Canadian Herstory:
Every year International Women's Day is celebrated around the world on March 8, providing a great opportunity to reflect on improvements in the status of women and to assess what still needs to be done! Canada also celebrates International Women's Week in early March.
The Status of Women Canada announced that Canada's theme for International Women's Day in 2018 is #MyFeminism, "inspired by the role feminism continues to play in shaping Canada and countries around the world." The international theme is #PressforProgress.
